How Artificial Intelligence (AI) will impact search engine optimization in the future




AI will revolutionise SEO as we know it. It will have a tremendous impact on every area of SEO, from optimization to link creation.

Search engine optimization will have to evolve as artificial intelligence (AI) grows more advanced. AI can already analyse data at a faster rate than humans, so it's only a matter of time before it takes over SEO.

The SEO sector is always changing. Google's algorithms are continually changing, and new technologies are being developed all the time. The SEO community has been debating the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the industry since Google announced in 2015 that they will be utilising RankBrain, an AI system, to help process search results. 

Google's AI system, RankBrain, isn't the only one it employs. They announced in 2017 that they were employing machine learning to combat spam.

Since Danny Sullivan, Google's Search Liaison, stated in 2019 that RankBrain is now being utilised for every search query, various organisations have begun to experiment with AI and machine learning in an attempt to stay ahead of the curve. This resulted in a slew of new AI-powered SEO tools. SEO keyword research, content production, traffic and site growth analysis, voice search, and SEO workflows are just a few of the ways AI tools have demonstrated their worth.


These applications have demonstrated that Artificial Intelligence is the future of SEO. The question is not whether or not AI will affect SEO, but when. The number of businesses interested in AI-based SEO has risen dramatically in the last year and is expected to continue to rise in the coming years.
